Mick Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Spent a few hours working on the Mk1 Cavalier today, last few bits done now, and it should be going for MOT on Tuesday... Things I had to do: Weld the rear sills Tighten exhaust manifold Replace fog light lens Replace sidelight bulb Set points etc New Plugs Things I didnt need to do but did Fit full Recaro Interior Fit JBL 6x9 rear speakers Fit Sony full remote head unit Fit orange needle GTE Clocks Paint the centre parts of the ATS Alloys Black Things still to do Make and fit Voltage regulator Lower suspension, fit stiffer shocks Check Swop tyres over and fit the ATS alloys Build the 2 Litre and fit it and maybe the 5 speed box Cruise about in it looking cool[8D]...Yeah right, you seen it??? Mick Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Mine are crossed too, used to do everything then take it down, now with the Computer MOT's I'd have to pay £25 for a retest if it fails so I've gone over everything and fixed things I would have normally left to chance....mind you, not had a car fail an mot for several years... I reckon I'll get some -60mm springs after seeing that Mick. It looks more like I want mine to look. Are you gonna invest in a chin spoiler?
