Sutty2006
Pat, i think you may have hit the nail on the head there. Ive begun to rip the box out and have found the pivot arm has jammed itself as far towards the back of the car as it can. More updates later, i shall return with pictures. (i hope)
Sutty2006
Sorry i havent kept you lot informed on this yeehaa project. I took the box out on the floor saturday morning/afternoon. I found the clutch bolts loose. Note to self, dont trust haynes manuals torque settings. So i removed the clutch, checked everything out (rear crank seal leaking but not exsessive enough to pass the flywheel) and refitted the lot sunday morning. Was quite fun putting the box in, feet holding the bellhousing and throwing the 'Rse end in with hands! (not something i have to do on trucks!) So shes up and running again. All be it with a stupidly anoying exhaust fanny mold blow.

Toni
are you leaving the side repeaters off aswell as the bump strips? looks like your waiting for bits especially as you aint got the strip for under the grill either - apart from that cool colour
Sutty2006
Ive got to get some new side repeaters. Steppy (the bandit) got me some side repeaters but look out of place on the shiney new art work I do have the black nose trim but its bent as a nine bob note and might not look good fitted. will have to see. Just had to go for a photo shoot this evening.

gunman
Sutty, bend your front nose strip back into as good a shape as you can, then you can put a skim of filler over it. If you know any kids about the age of 4, steal a small wooden building block off them to use for sanding (I 'borrowed' a couple from my son ), Use this to sand down to a smooth finish. You may need to do it a couple of times then just prime and spray satin black. Car does look good .
Sutty2006
WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER!!! Dads only just gone and backed the manta into the garage wall! chiped all the paint on the bumper, pushed the bumper into the rear valence and cracked the valence.
