deanosabby
Hi Ian, The new engine will be going in once I have managed to track down lower suspension arms as the old one's are well past it. Should hopefully find out this afternoon if there are some near by. Cheers, Deano.

deanosabby
Well it has gone in for it's MOT today so I will find out tomorrow how it has faired. I took another few photos under the bonnet so here you go. When Bill pealed off to go to the MOT station I was following in my SAAB 9-5 Turbo with 220bhp and it took all of it's horses to catch up and that is with the cavvy's timing retarded a wee bit for the emissions test, Colin will testify that the SAAB aint no slouch either. Roll on tomorrow. Ta, Deano.

deanosabby
It is a 1978 they told him that when he took it down that they would not do the emissions test but he had already adjusted it by then. It is going back to Bill to get the head re-torqued as per guidelines and a wee bit more fettling to the tuning.

Hi Shug, If you mean the Opel rocker cover then yes that was powder coated by a place in Bilston Ind Est in Loanhead but their name escapes me right now. Ta, Deano.
