Pic's Of My Exclusive

Recommended Posts

Well I have been floating about on this here web site for a while and thought it was about time to post a few pick's of me baby.

1988 coupe B Exclusive.

History: Well she was first registered in Northern Ireland and stayed there until I got her and was owned and fully restored in 2004 by ( I believe a cousin of Nelson Stewart ) from the Manta 400 web site, if you go on the Manta 400 web site and click our cars and go to Aarons exclusive you can see pic's of her restoration. This is what I was told by the guy I bought it from so if I am incorrect in my statements my apologies

I was looking for a good Manta since I sold my last Escort RS2000, I saw many but most were rot box's and working all hours god sends I needed one that I didn't have to spend half my life restoring (some may say the easy way out !!!! ). But she is the cleanest manta I have ever seen underneath fully wax oiled and undercoated not a spot of rust !!.

Being married to a Irish lass lead me to Coleraine and this beauty I drove her home to Essex with no major problems but have since had to replace the rear drums, cylinders, shoes, fitted a AP racing clutch, new prop bearing.

She has a few scratches to the bonnet but they will be sorted for Billing fingers Xed.

Spec:

1988 B coupe Exclusive

Quaife lsd

Bilstine Fast road coil overs

Carlton grooved and drilled discs and callipers

16v 20XE Cav GSI red top on coil pack

17inch OZ racing alloys

Borg and Beck AP Racing clutch

Stainless de cat exhaust

Hope she makes the high standards I have seen on here so far :huh:

Looking brilliant Rob. " I must say it is better seeing it in the flesh " This Beauty could'nt have

gone to a better home ... I know you've had a couple of teething issues with it to start with .

but that aside ....

I'm sure you'll concur the driving experience/handling leaves

the Fraud Escrotes way behind ... ( just ask Charlie ;) )

What an acheivement, and I don't mean all the good things about that very nice car, I mean that it has come FROM the EMERALD ISLE, over the water to our shores, Very good news indeed!! Welcome to you both.

Julian.
