Mostly the kadett c coupe, have owned 3 in total but now have an ascona 2dr in which im considering doing a 400 rep with either a 2 litre xe or c20let!!! On here to meet new people and to absorb some of everyones mega knowledge on these conversions. Hope you guys are up for sharing your knowledge on this and sourcing parts etc.. As this is one project that has been overdue. Watch this space!!!!

Devil Fish
Very shiny... not that I'm one to talk, but I'd have reservations about 400/xe/let'ing it though...too nice and rare maybe? I'm sure whatever you decide to do, it will be a stunner. Edited September 29, 2009 by Devil Fish
Scott
I like the period upgrades .... spots and irmscher boot spoiler. Goes well with the Vinyl roof If it where mine I would be leaving it well alone with exception of some old skool alloys. But its not mine Good luck with it Edited September 29, 2009 by Scott

spiney_norman
I agree with what others have said, if that was mine I'd be leaving it as it is, there's not many standard 2 door Asconas left, that said of course it is yours to do what you like with! cact1972
Well, the search is on to find the bodykit. Does anyone know where they can be sourced apart from smith and deakin?
welder
Lovely motor. I'd leave it alone personally but as previously mentioned, it's your car.
Blue Thunder
Nice Ascona! Keep it original, you don't see them that often. But if you want to do a 400 conversion, at least have a look over here: http://www.opel400club.de and http://www.opel400club.de/club/international.html
