Well you need the engine of course complete with wire loom, ecu, ignition etc. Its a direct fit and you can re-use existing exhaust system, gearbox etc . Basically the engine is the same as the existing lump, but with efi instead, and a different exhaust manifold and ignition. Other than that its identical. So clutch, gearbox etc is also a perfect fit.

You will however need a fuel tank from a injection car and a fuel pump. You also need to make a extra return fuel line for the tank as it is a circulating system.

Other than that, its plug´n play thumbsup.gif

Don't be afraid of the injection, it's simple and only five wires really

You CAN use the exhaust manifold off a carb car but have to put a plate on the top once the carb manifold is off is all, so simpler to get a GTE one unless you can drill a few holes in some steel and seal it down

You can acutally use any CIH injection exhaust manifold, and the plate trick really does no good for the flow. But yes that is a solution. However alot of cars use the 4 cyl CIH "E" engine and anyone really will do the trick. Manta, Ascona, Rekord (carlton) etc. 1,9E, 2,0E, 2,2E and 2,4E all fit, and you should be able to get one off of ebay.de thumbsup.gif

Rekord (carlton) etc.

Depending on year UK Rekord manifold will not fit down pipe due to down pipe flange being side by side not one hehind the other.

This is something to watch out for on manifolds purchased off LHD cars too where they did not have to avoid a steering column
