White 1980 2000GLS Sportshatch which was advertised on this forum and will be a daily driver not going for a full on Restoration (Unless Andy cant help himself again) I collected it yesterday from across them there hills into Lancashire then to Haydock near St Helens. Mick
It looked a lot different before it got a wash, the road filth made it a dull grey and black colour after 130 miles on a trailer. Im sure it wont be long before its back on the road, I have it at work to prep it for its MOT

plumster
Ah, seeing the pics now I know why you are after a red fuse box cover, my bottom dash section is all black with just the top half red. Seems like they made them up of anything that was around. Looks like it could be a nice bus.
robah
I am a bit gutted I never bought this myself after having a good luck around the car, and having a good long chat with the "then owner", about it's history. I am glad it's gone to another member and it will be used

399Road
Seeing that bright red interior takes me back..... To about 1987, when my dad bought the coolest car he'd ever owned ( in my expert opinion at only 10 years old ) A blue 4 door Mk1 Cavalier 2000 with that same red interior, a rubber boot spoiler and playboy stickers on the rear quarter panels. It also had one of those red infill panels between the rear lights with "Cavalier" written across it. Now this car was cool on a whole new level and I remember thinking that it would look loads better with four slots cut into the front panel, to make it look more Manta-ish. This car stood out from all my dad's previous Maxis, Morris Itals, Austin 1800's and Talbot Alpines and I was absolutely gutted when its engine blew up and be bought a bright orange Allegro to replace it. No thanks dad, I'll be walking to school again... Luke.
