Kevin Abbott
Sounds like the leads aren't in the correct order or the dizzy is in 180 degree out
P8lss
Thanks m8 but, had new leads on and had dizzy checked, she starts up on the key but as soon as you put your foot on gas peddle she pops and farts and dies. Like its starving of fuel.do you know if they have a fuel relay and were it's located.

monaco ray
Hi, just a thought but is the airflow trunking connected to intake manifold securely and also the wiring harness plug on the airflow meter properly fitted. Remove the harness plug and make sure the pins are clean, its worth a look.
dog321fish
Maybe obvious but have you put any fresh petrol in it ? fuel does seem to "go off".
®evo03
Check fuel lines, if GTE fuel injection, are right way round. Haynes manual is wrong! woooops feed from pump goes direct to t piece on fuel injection rail, FEED the return is regulated, regulatory is fitted to injection rail that feeds the injectors.
