I need a 20SEH engine, loom and ECU from a MK2 Cavalier SRI 2.0 8v, for an engine conversion in my Manta Coupe.

If anyone has one tucked away, or taking up space in their garage, and want to move it on, please let me know.

Thanks,

Darren

The Carlton's 20SE is the same as the 20SEH except for two things. The camshaft and ECU.

It might be a lot easier to find the cam and ecu for an SEH rather than the entire engine.

Just be careful as some after market sellers claim the NE, SE & SEH cams are the same. They are not. I have a parts book somewhere that tells the colour codes of each cam.

The mk3 cavalier SRI had the 20SEH up until they started fitting cats. But be careful as I was nearly caught out. I found an SRI with a 20NE engine fitted. So just because it doesn't have a cat doesn't mean it's a 20SEH.

Worth asking about this one?

Some very early Mk3 Cavaliers had the SEH as did the MK2 Astra. Just had a look on the Cavalier Club Forum but nothing listed

I can find C20NE's popping up from time to time, seen a 20SEH head for sale, I've seen a MK2 GTE breaking, but was unsure if it was a 20SEH.

Thanks very much for the thought.

I had already been offered one. I dont want to mess you around. I am waiting for the other one to become available.

I would have had it otherwise

Thanks

It's ok, these engines sell themselves. They are getting thin on the ground.

Just be careful you're getting an SEH and no an NE.

Some people don't know the difference
