TheRealExile
Be interesting to see what it goes for as it needs the usual welding and paint etc.
Monaco Blue
Yes, given it needs a full respray and a fair bit of welding I think the asking price may be a bit optimistic. It does look nice though. We shall await with interest.
Mickfrad
Relisted and price dropped £500 to £6250 probably still too high for the amount of work it will need. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292069727256
Kevin Abbott
Looks a nice straight car, restorable if you was to do it all yourself but if sent out for any work you're looking at a 10k car done, that's worth about that on the open market
mantadoc
At least it's straight. It could actually be anywhere between a gift and a nightmare

It does look pretty nice (rust & respray aside). At the end of the day, if you were to keep it once restored it could be a worthwhile investment. £10K in the bank isn't increasing much at 0.5% interest if you are lucky. 1 hour ago, mantadoc said: At least it's straight. Monaco Blue
This has been re-listed with no reserve: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Opel-Manta-GT-E-Exclusive-Coupe-1988-Monaco-Blue-Totally-Original-/292083186287?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
mantadoc
The rear seat belts are how MOT guys leave them There is no MOT history online My guess is the last time it was driven was to and from an MOT station, and as belts like that I would guess it failed. Oh and the rear right bumper corner is turned out which usually means it's had a rear panel However, it still looks a straight low owner car and could be gift or nightmare.
