 I’m sure these are Cibie’s for the quad lights & are akin to hen’s teeth so if I’m right this is currently a bargain but do your own check first!

Look like different tabs on the back.

Those tabs will work with the metal frame type of lights (capri style) where the lamp is clamped between the backing frame and the individual surrounds. It won't work with teh Irmscher style where the 3 legs clip on.

Did 400, i200, i240 have the earlier type metal frames from new. And did the irmscher quad light only come out in 87 with the first of the exclusives? 

Remember seeing old 400 bodykit adverts in carsport, wonder who produced the earlier type metal frames

It was the very early cars such as the 400s that had the early metal frames. From memory all exclusives etc had the later type lights from85/86 onwards.

No GTE's ever came in any year as standard with quad headlights. Just the Exclusives came with the quads from 86 (Kev cough cough) onwards.

Just trying to track down a supplier, think they supplied the later type, it wasnt irmscher as it was 83 ish, and thought they where similar to the irmscher type. 

Its weird that most pre 86 cars have quads! Cough, cough!

The cough cough is a running joke from Billing as they asked a question once which was “what year was the exclusive introduced to the uk” the club said it was 87 even though I was in ownership of an 86 exclusive at the time 😂

They made the GTE up until 88 surprisingly alongside the Exclusives.

Yeh I know the ones. Only issue is the bezel tends to curl sometimes. Rare though
