I was thinking on ats wheels for my A but didn't know the 13" would fit. I have the same brake setup as you.

Do the 7" fit in wheel arches ok without changing?

Wheels look great :thumbup

Yes they fit, a friend of mine have a manta with 13 ats 7'' with et 3 and he have the car lower 60/50 and don't touch

For me was a good surprise that the 13'' wheels work with this brake setup, i think that works because the et is 14,5 and the 7'' give more room inside the wheel.

The 244 cam is likely to touch the piston top due to the lift. You will need to have the pistons pocketed out to clear the valves, especially if you are using the 45mm inlets and 40mm exhausts. I had to do this on a 2.2 motor, any good engine shop will be able to do this.

Just for info the pockets were cut to a maximum depth of 6mm and the diameter was 48mm giving plenty of clearance for the valves. These were done on 2.2 pistons so you will need to check the thickness of the 1.9 piston crowns. Check opel gt forums for some good photos of pistons with pockets machined in.

Nice car by the way.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for all advices, you really are a expert.

I will check the opelgt forum to see the pistons and engine tuning.

I was thinking to enlarge the engine block to 95mm and put this pistons in the photo it looks to have a good clearence to the valves
