Robbie Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) I,m confused on this thread lol, Rab,s pic of D600 DFK was my I240 that has an original Irmscher 240 kit on it. Re 400 kits , the rally tech ones are superb and I had hand in tweaking parts of the kit so lamp pods could be fitted to the 400 Kit etc. I have fitted the Rallytech 400 kit and its as good as they come, easy fitted,follows the lines of the car perfect, Rallytech also do the 240 kit which again is spot on. The kits lepo recommends to the best of my knowledge are also pretty good though I don't think the supplier does a 400 bonnet ( I may be wrong ) buying the kit of rallytech and the bonnet you are likely to get a decent deal. There is no bonnet out there that fits like a Rallytech one anyone here thats fitted them will tell you the same, it follows the curves of the car perfectly, buying a kit else where and going to Rallytech for the bonnet you are likely to pay full whack. I know the Rallytech kit is first class quality and they have been in business for many years and will be around for many to come as they supply the motorsport teams with fiberglass and carbon panels for various cars. I,ve not heard any bad comments on Martins kits either but I,ve never fitted one, I have seen them at billing a few years ago and they did seem of a high standard. Only someone thats actually fitted one could tell you how well they follow the lines of the car. Irrespective of either kit mentioned above, the actual fitting of the kit and the final spraying of your car will make more difference than anything.
