Retro Power
Full Polyurethane suspension bush to suit Opel Manta B, Ascona B and MK1 Vauxhall Cavalier. We always use SuperPro bushes on our project vehicles as we've found them to be a superior fit to other manufacturers. A good example on this kit is the new metal shells which are supplied for the lower wishbones. Many kits don't include these and the bushes are sized to simply fit directly into the wishbone. This invariably leads to the bush spinning in the wishbone (rather than rotating on the inner tube as it should) causing rapid wear of the bush. We can advise on fitting these bushes (or probably more relevant, removing the old bushes, as they can be temperamental little blighters!) The only points of note on this kit are that on the chassis end of the Panhard rod you will need to retain the original inner tube, and for the anti-roll bar drop links you will need to retain all the original metal parts. If yours are corroded then OE links are still available from your motor factors: QH part number QLS1750S or Delphi part number TD272W. All kits and bushes are in stock for next day delivery (included for FREE!) Price is £290 Inc. VAT and Delivery (Next Day) which represents over 10% off RRP. PAYPAL to paypal@retropower.co.uk This is the contents of the kit which you will recieve (they will be in sealed packaging though!)
Retro Power
We can also supply any of the above 'sub-kits' individually. We can supply the rear anti-roll bar to chassis (drop link) bushes (8 rubbers and 4 tubes) for an additional £50. Finally we are currently sourcing Manta A lower arm bushes (all the others are the same as which we'll keep you posted on ;-)

JJM
Hi Are the Panhard bushes suitable for the Manta A? And if so should they have sleeves? One side of mine has a sleeve and the other doesn't...not sure if I've lost it or if it wasn't there to begin with. Thanks
Retro Power
think we mentioned in the ad, if you mean the tube that goes through the bush, then yes on the b series the chassis end has a tube and the axle end does not as it pivots directly on the pin. You need to keep the original tube for the chassis end
dark_lord7000
Hi, are you still able to supply these kits? Cheers Matt
Retro Power
Thanks for ordering Matt. As an update to the original post we have now worked with Superpro to bring out a new Panhard rod kit that includes the chassis tube (standard in our full kits now) and I can also supply the rear ARB drop link bushes as long as you have the ARB type that has a loop each end. This kit is £50 inc.VAT which is a lot, but then there are 8 top hat bushes and 4 tubes in the kit, so a lot of parts!
