kenny dock
Hi Folks, The car below is for auction on the 26/11/14 at Brightwells. I would love to own it however its top money (£6000- £8000 estimate) and when you factor in 10% auction fee plus 17.5% vat plus travel.....Well its alot! Im not aware of it ever being advertised on the club website, it does have a club tax disc holder. There may be good reason for this. Anyway if anyone knows the owner I would appreciate if he could be advised of my interest in this car if its not sold as planned. http://classiccars.brightwells.com/viewdetails.php?id=4952 Thanks Kenny Dock

Rapierdave
Hi Kenny The owner of B198 SEA back in July 2010 at Billing was Alan Coley according to Autumn 2010 Manta Magic. Don't know if he is now or was a member recently & what his forum name was but i'm sure some one on here will know more about the car.

Danny D114BCW
17.5% vat? It's a nice car but let's be honest it won't make the guide price

Rapierdave
17.5% vat? It's a nice car but let's be honest it won't make the guide price Hi Danny it looks like your car beat B198 SEA to first place in the 2010 Billing best original c category & if you read the auction blurb the owner Alan Corey wasn't happy I agree that although it's a very nice example i'll be surprised if it reaches its guide price, but you never know.............
garymanc
Bargain, should this not have 120 mph clocks though
mantaray
Just looked at 2011 membership list. Alan Coley 's membership ran out in June 2011 and he did not renew. I do have his tel number on file from 2010 which I can let you have via PM if you would like Kenny.
Rick-Manta
Bargain, should this not have 120 mph clocks though Hmm, I'd have thought it'd have the earlier clocks too, the ones with orange bits on. Perhaps it's a very very late B-reg and caught the first of the new instrument design?

1900SR
Seems to be some wear on the bolster of the drivers seat, might just be the photo though. Nice car, but not worth over twice what the one at ACA in King's Lynn made.
