BIG STU
Spray bleach and a scrubbing brush. Leave it for an hour or two. But you will have to remove or cover your interior. Did it on mine when restoring it.. Still got the odd bit of staining. RETRO. But looks a million times better. 😉 GOOD LUCK
cam.in.head
HaRd area to clean and get perfect due to most of the brown discolouration being from condensation / rust damage . This being a sunroof equipped car. The headlining was the same on my Carlton due to sunroof rust but no where else.i cleaned mine best I could with decosol and then a misting of spray paint ! like the bleach idea .let me know if this works but as mentioned make B###### sure none gets on anything at all .as we all know bleach marks never come off ! ®evo03
As above, get it as clean as possible, have you ever tried upholstery dye. It's really impressive, comes with dyes, sealers, I've dyed motorbike leathers, gloves, boots, and I am prepping dying exclusive recalls, the grey backing material, grey to black. Gloves are a must! Can't dye black to white, but I am sure you can dye white on white Seen red Ancona door cars ' transformed to an unbelievable dark hue! ' seriously though, it turns out well Edited June 2, 2019 by ®evo03
hoobby
Ok thanks everyone tried a few things the best so far was damp a cloth with isopropanol (alcohol) 99% got a lot of it out with little effort (also removes rust stains from paint work without damaging paint) can still see the rust stains on the headliner tho faint think the vinyl itself has discoloured/dyed will try evo03's idea won't be till end of summer tho going to remove headliner as I'm over 6 ft tall even with the seats removed I'm very uncomfortable in there just think I'll get a better results this way. ®evo03
You could try dying it in place, as removing it means removing all glass. You tube it, Google it, it is essentially leather dye, comes with upside down non-drip sponge. Edited June 3, 2019 by ®evo03

®evo03
nah, buy the proper stuff, you could ask someone if they have an old sample, and send it to a company of your choice. to get the correct colour. look up leather dye on ebay, it will come with cleaner, dye and sealer. rhis stuff goes on and doesnt come off.
