H-400
Hi Sam, the best is indeed to fit a complete new set, they are easy to find on internet: https://www.edelschmiede.com/shop/Coupling-rod-flybar-stabiliser-on-front-axle-Opel-Ascona-Manta-B-Kadett-C https://www.altopelhilfe.de/product_info.php?info=p3077_stabisatz-seitlich---koppelstange.html https://www.o-t-r.de/shop/ascona-manta-b/va-stabisatz-ascona-manta-b/
Jessopia74
Easy to get from eBay, still a common part. How about complete as the bolts sometimes seize in the tubes. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ANTI-ROLL-BAR-STABILISER-LINK-FRONT-OPEL-KADETT-D-E-MANTA-B-79-93-90009367-X2/264537109973

Well rub me down with a salted cod, the replacement ones (listed for MK 1 Cav) are too frikkin long. I am to say the least a touch miffed. IanMc
All I did was to cut the tube length down, the cut the excess thread off the bolt with an angle grinder once fitted. If you cut the excess thread off before you start, you can struggle to get the nut to engage with the first couple of threads. Hope that helps? Good luck.

Hi Ian, I have ordered a pair of QH ones that should be the correct size.
plumster
Hoorah!! job done, not a big job & probably due to regular oil spraying for many years, they came out pretty easy. Used a small jack to push the new ones in & squash the rubbers a bit & got the top nut on easily. Small win but very satisfying. GTEPETE
For anyone with a lowered car, you are advised to shorten the link the same amount as the drop...
