His kickdown cable has broken and its now leaking an impressive amount of fluid out. He asked me to try and get him a new or good used cable, can anyone help out ? P. Hi, Excellent, I spoke with him and he had had speedy cables do one but it came back wrong, he said it would be a faff to take it out and send it off again so I was trying to find another for speedy to copy so it was a swap rather than a long mission again. Mmm, perhaps you should keep going - he’s subsequently he mentioned that they’re re-doing it but there’s some concern about ends and the autobox specialist he used wants to double check the routing too. Perhaps the Rimmerbros one would be good but there doesn’t seem to be any dimensions on it. I tend to offer my help for free on here... Ill pass on that, I don't need a drawing I need the inner cable length and the outer surround length. Or an actual used cable to copy. The £18 was a quote from a microfiche firm, it could probably be done cheaper in bulk or perhaps even DIY in the first instance.
