1980 2.0 SR Berlinetta Hatch

Recommended Posts

I’ve a feeling that this car is on the forum somewhere but hey, it sounds to be a decent base.

Found it, gives a better idea of how she’d look with a bit of work. https://mantaclub.org/forums/topic/31298-1980-sr-berlinetta-hatch-by-stradacab/

Thanks for popping the link up here. I will really miss this car and I have been holding off selling it for a few years because it will be a lovely car when completed and it doesn't need masses to get it back to a reasonable standard. I just get so little time to work on them these days and I need to put my time int the others really. I hope it goes to a good home.

If anyone wants any info, pleased ask!

Outbid already with 157 watching 🙄 can see this going for quite a bit, I'm negotiating with the Mrs as to max bid but I hope it goes to a good home if I can't bid enough just now. Other project now has at least had 3 coats of black primer, the black shows up the minor imperfections really well so last bits of minor filling then final priming before the shiny stuff goes on.

It’s still under £1300, it’s worth more in parts. I’m thinking Stradacab will get over £2K as it must be worth that.

I’m a watcher with no intention of bidding but intrigued with the no reserve strategy and also no caveats such as “won’t accept bids from new accounts or those with less than 30 transactions.”

What spares does it come with mate?

I always put mine on no reserve as they tend to find their value if you list them right.

I'd have thought in all honesty anywhere between 2 and 2.5k but you just don't know with that many watching. It's a nice honest car and I think that is what people are liking.

All it takes is 2 bidders that want it and it can go up and up

If D611 TDM was on there l think l would bid silly

Same with NAD 357P, if you are stradacab you have to let it run and hope no idiots ruin it.
