taylorblue5
D691JEC was my first Manta. I bought it from a guy in Kirkauldy for 600 quid with a full mot. I sold it a few months later to buy a coupe, the guy bit my hand off to get the car but sold it very soon after, the cars ultra solid and just needs a wee tidy. Hope i get to see it again one day. I bought it from the Aberdeen direction as a run about as i was needing a car , I`ve painted the rear quarters and painted a good n/s wing to change over , Good enough for a run about , This car will be for sale in the coming months as i`ve a new diesel passat to keep the wife happy , (She hates old cars / doesn`t and never will understand) It will need some welding to the sills for next Mot , You can have her back if you want , As you can see from the pictures above , i`ve more than enough cars , (who cut the grill out ?? it annoys me) Kev PM sent regarding the white Hatch You Have a PM , Kev
taylorblue5
Hi Kev, im not sure who cut the grill, sacrilidge if you ask me. I replaced the fuel tank as the other one was humped. I remember when i collected it, was runnin like a bag of spanners but i thought it was just the radiator loose but it was only runnin on 3, still flew past my m8 at 90, ha. How much are you lookin for it? Iv got a drive full of cars too. No wife tho :-D lol.

MB15
Just goes to show what is under the paint , Always best to go back to bare metal , Getting ready to etch / Guide coat Lashing on the paint , most of this will be re-sanded off so fussed about the finish , Next up filler primer / Upol 20:
