Sutty2006
I have a set of Evo 4 recaro front seats for sale. Currently sat in a Corsa B. I havent inspected the runners yet but im guessing previous owner has fitted the seats to corsa runners..... I was going to put them in my Hatch but keeping the manta recaros instead. £200 £250 including pair of OMP harnesses. any questions please ask Edited April 12, 2013 by Sutty2006
399Road
Steve, I've got a set of these in my Manta and they bolt straight up to GT/E seat runners. These seats were also available as an aftermarket upgrade from places like Demon Tweeks and are called Recaro Speed. They fit properly in a Manta and don't look too big like many other aftermarket seats look. I hope this helps you to sell them.... Luke. Sutty2006
Cheers luke. They would probably look good in my red hatch as the centres are red and the rest is alcantara which is nice..... If they don't sell I will keep them, just don't want to go over board with the mods.

Sutty2006
BUMP. Can bring to billing
Shuviteer
Accept that they aint going to sell !!!! Either here or else where. Talking a price is NOT what folk will pay............................ hence things/cars still for sale ages later (even if stated it will be kept !!!) Eventually folk will come round to a proper mindset and realise the TRUE value of things !
Sutty2006
Why should I? Things get put so far back in the listings that folk might miss the opportunity. If you don't have anything positive to say about what I have for sale, keep it to your self.
paulmanta
You still stirring it up then Shuv ? As it happens that is a reasonable asking price for these seats, it give room for haggling and then both parties feel happy with the deal, go on a Mitsi forum and try and buy a pair ! The listings in "for sale" slip down and folk that might have missed them a while ago get to see them now, I had not seen them before tonight and took no notice of the date on the advert. You just want it all parts to be available to suit your cheap ass view on the hobby, Funny, all this time has gone by and I can still read a post from you think negative thoughts about you, why don't you go and get into collecting thimbles or something instead ?
pat
well for what its worth , I still hover around the forum & lurk mostly , first time i saw this ad is today yet by the datestamp its original listing was 4 month ago , i think its fair to bump it & i think anyone has the right to ask what they will for their own property , no one would bitch about a 1800 sump for 50 quid which is less than you would expect to pay so why bitch about a set of seats for more than you personally would pay , just seems unneccesary
Sutty2006
Couldn't have put it better myself. So back on track, I will take 200 for the seats and harnesses together... as they aren't going anywhere or doing any harm sat where they are. I can't edit the original post untill I get on my PC again..
Shuviteer
Well as the two of the previous posters critisiseing aint members (look at my long distance past posts !!) then they would NOT , as I cannot, view the post when posted! As the original poster is now reducincing the price, then surely ANYONE with a semblence of a brain would understand that the original price was just pie in the sky thinking. If you cant buy them for that price on the Mitsi sites (which I frequent ) then stick them on there and apparrently your arms will be ripped off by the rush !!!!!!! As for collecting thimbles......................... cant get any as you have the monopoly on them ! So get a grip folks and understand the reality of things, asking a price because others do does not make things worth that, hence so many unsold items..... and espescially overpriced cars. See it on most car sites, example, guy put his Delta up for sale on a classified at 4900, also stuck it up on fleabay................................. went for iirc3500!!! The Great British Public have spoken. So really think about the value of something before the back patting ar5e lickers get involved about what something is worth. ps to above (lappy crashed hence late addition ), I think they are nice seats, but would only offer 100 quid.... maybe at a push up to 130 . Sutty2006
Pie in the sky thinking? When I put these up for sale there was a worse pair on eBay with no belts or runners for 350... so how am I supposed to make a judgement on price? Halve it and hope someone like you comes alone to rip in? I think not. What I choose to do with my seats is, quite frankly, non of your concern. What you value my seats at, again, is non of your concern so do not spam my thread with the crap that you come up with. Kindly go bother someone else's forsale thread. pat
Hey SHUVIT ! for what its worth ive probably paid plenty in club subs over the years and most likely supported members more too as a active club member and area rep for god knows how many years doing several shows plus pub meets every year and still have dealings with members, so i really dont see where you have room to rip into others to vent your opinions but cannot take what you appear to hand out . i neither find the need for back patting ar5e lickers get involved comment , dont usually do either , wasnt aware i had here in the same way that you have a reasonable right to say your bit , can i suggest that you bugger off on perhaps start your own thread about the pricing of things rather than seeming to try pointlessly trying to provoke folks on their own for sale thread , Just remember when your selling something someone can ALWAYS offer you less and you can negotiate but im willing to bet had sutty put these up at 70 you would not have said , tell you what mate heres a hundred , i reckon they are worth that ! the price is always negotiable . but good manners on a social forum of enthusiasts well those it would appear are PRICELESS Edited June 8, 2013 by pat
paulmanta
I am not involved with the OMOC much anymore so I have nothing to lose when I say that over the years I have formed the opinion that Shuviteer is a weapons grade bell end. Shuv, you might be the greatest bloke in the world in person but on a forum you seem to post rubbish. it is what it is, so I don't care. Sorry to Sutty for this for sale thread spammery. In fact, I am going to report this lot to the moderators so it can get cleaned up, hopefully after mr Shuv has read my opinion.
Shuviteer
Read your opinions and it is your view...... BUT still dont see anyone wishing to buy at the price stated.! Hence my point about folk over valueing things !! If folk stopped getting irate about it and viewed things as intended then they would understand the whole point of my responsonse to folk who over value things . Cars still go unsold, parts still go unsold............... for no other reason that the price is higher than Joe Public whishes to pay. I've given examples, but if no one wishes to believe me then stick them on flea bay with a 99p start and see where they end up I dont mind being the Devils Advocate as every coin has two sides, but when only one side is looked at then THAT is a corrupt view. As all the posters so far HAVE NOT SHOWN AN INTEREST IN BUYING THEM, then I'll offer 100 quid for them. Please let me know, unless someone from here is prepared to offer more,... or shut the crap up!!!
Sutty2006
Actually, I've had more interest through PM than on the forum. If you're not interested in them, you shut the crap up. End of story. The only person getting irate is you, at the fact that my items haven't sold. And to be quite honest with you, If they don't sell, I don't give a crap. I'm offering them up for sale incase someone else wants to make use of them, not so people like you can get them for sod all. If you want the seats for £100, you have to buy the belts, for £100 also.......see how you like that
davo
Sorry but I feel the need to have my say. Why does shuviteer find the need to slate sutty's thread. There are plenty of parts on any forum that have not sold for various reasons so why attack this one? It's so easy to sit at a keyboard and have a go I met sutty last month and found him to be a decent fella. Paulmanta is right the mods need to clean this thread up. On the upside at least all this communication keeps the ad at the top of the list! There, said my piece. end of.

Sutty2006
Sold these Seats on eBay. Guy from DURHAM came for them this afternoon, paid the £133 he won them for... and quite happily chatted about Mantas for 30 mins before he went on his merry way. I sold the belts to a friend for £60 a few weeks ago So i make that...ummm.... £193 in total. Im quite happy with that....
paulmanta
£7 quid less than you offered them for, when will you wake up and admit you massively overpriced them at £200 ? how can you sleep at night knowing that you deprived a yorkshireman of a bargain ? Oh my God, this place is unreal, selling your own parts, in your own time at a price that YOU find acceptable. I am cancelling the rest of the day and going to sit in a dark room and try and forget it all. Well done, you have made me cry. I hope you are happy. I am telling on you.
