davo
right some of you know I've got myself a manta A,a first for me!! it was a case of right place, right time, blah, blah, blah.wasnt sure wether to just put it up for sale or get it built and keep it. Well as I've started a project thread it must mean I'm keeping it !! This is the car as I collected it. Project images are available to Club Members Only, Click to become an OMOC Member. Once the decision was made to keep it,it was time to see what I'd actually got myself,so it was into my mates body shop to get it back to bare metal to see how good/bad it actually is. Unfortunately it was not all good news! Whilst the car is structurally sound a few horrors were uncovered.however better to find them now rather than have it bubbling through any new paint in the not too distant future Project images are available to Club Members Only, Click to become an OMOC Member. Bit more prep work & hopefully see some colour end of next week fingers crossed As you can see a lot of work has gone into the doors, possibly should have sourced replacements but who knows how they would have been once stripped back so better the devil you know.

Can't wait to see it in the natural light, but I'm well chuffed with the colour choice & how it's turned out. anyone that has had a car painted in a colour of their choice, will know that it is a big, expensive decision to make, but very pleasing when it turns out well !! It does look a bit brown in the front end pics but I think that's the lighting,as I said it's more orange like in the rear end pictures.
