Monaco Blue
A bit of a mess, but would be nice to see this one saved! One of the last B1 models and in a rare colour (Opal Green Metallic) https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1204970 Edited February 22, 2020 by Monaco Blue
Jessopia74
I do believe that overall Mantas are under valued, but this is just the opposite
Rapierdave
Economically its not worth restoring unless it could be bought very cheaply. Interesting car though with electric window conversion
Monaco Blue
It's on ebay now as well with a few more photos. A basket case by the looks of it which is a shame. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OPEL-MANTA-1982-PETROL-AUTO-LOW-MILAGE/303495678019?hash=item46a9c08843:g:VZQAAOSwYk5eUCql

Jessopia74
Shame eh, but looks only good to cut up for a few bits that could be salvaged imo

Interesting car though with electric window conversion I would say the same, if you can make money on the spares available to strip it down and hope some panels are salvageable and can be cut off to repair someone else's car. Wheels and steering wheel look okay and if the interior could clean up, bumpers if not distorted, electric window conversion, chrome wheel arch trim, and window fittings, front airdam, maybe £300 - £500 there, in real money, as people on the forum have been after most of these parts lately. IMO it is probably worth £200 - £300 max, due to transport and time spent stripping down, which is a shame as it would probably be worth triple (easily) of what it is selling on eBay now if the Shell was any good and the car was looked after and roadworthy especially one of the last B1's Be a great shell to learn welding and panel making on. 😉
