1200bandit Posted September 25 Share Posted September 25 (edited) Have put this up for sale in the past ( not really committed to selling) Looking at the miles l have put on the manta is 229 miles in 4 years It’s a Manta exclusive GTE in very good condition a few paint chips (some might say excellent for year) so l don’t want to waste anyone’s time Starts first time every time,runs really well. The is no rot on the body,the paint is in very reasonable condition. The chassis is rot free if don’t want to read the long right up ,you can look at Your Project,Irish Blue as no doubt l have missed something out. Got this one from lreland on the 21/08/21 was shipped to lreland so time back. The lrish MOT was done 22/07/2021 at 89,013 miles clean pass l got the MOT done on the 11/05/2023 at 89,073 miles clean pass This years MOT 03/05/2024 at 89,242 miles ( l have done 229 miles) As you can see l do not use it as it should be used The front wings were removed,Cut of all the rot on inner wings ,new metal welded in The inner wings have been painted with anit rust paint,under sealed,Monaco blue,lacquered,and the inside of the front wings the same The battery tray only a small amount was cut out and welded, a very small bit of welding was done The front suspension was stripped down cleaned metal was welded in the lower suspension arms Front brake mod done, stainless brake pipes New tyres x 5 Nwe top,bottom ball joints,anti roll bars drop links,anit roll bars bushs.shock absorbers. Has running lights,clear indicators covers,4 side,dip,main lights working. The seats,carpet was removed checked for any welding needed all good,painted the floor with anit rust paint,soundproofing Cental locking fitted,rear fog lights ( from XR2) Boot has been carpeted rear arches floor ect big red light in the boot for safety. New rear springs ( which makes it seats a bit high have the springs which make it sear better,l need it to be higher to get on drive) Inside the engine bay ,the inner wings have been painted.the battery tray,washer bottle tray have wax oiled The is a K&N filter fitted,original air filter box in the sale. Inlet,exhaust manifold injector gaskets have been replaced,new bolts on the front exhaust pipe, Bonnet struts,new battery,coolant,oil filter,engine oil The exhaust may be a bit loud for some The has been a lot of work done,so might have missed something I have come to the conclusion that l will never get around to using this a lot can message me for more information Will sell to any manta member for £16,000 , if any one wants to view to give a independent assessment no problem Will put on eBay ( if really necessary) for £17,500 The manta is just outside Liverpool,M62 junction 5 Happy to answer any question ,more photos if requested Edited September 26 by 1200bandit 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hear a few folk say that, but I’ve never seen it in person. 1200bandit Posted November 7 Author Share Posted November 7 (edited) It’s been 3 weeks now ,have no message about the manta,so looks like a dreamer,or just likes to look and talk about mantas. Happy to still have the manta in my garage,which will stay,it just a shame that it will just go nowhere. Well it’s just 2 years of being tax,MOT free.
