Rab Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Cars are now getting oot the buying range of many peeps 6K for awe 21 year old motor, more so for seeing new younger members joining the club.Nice lookin motor. Quote
manta400john Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I wouldn't be surprised if the garage has had it painted and are therefore trying for top dollar ? The interior could be better. For that money I'd be expecting it to be wearing selling dealer's no. plates. Quote
mark morris Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 This was for sale privately on Pistonheads recently Quote
Danny D114BCW Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 worth it that i think if somebody wants one, did we not have a hatch for 15k the other month?? Quote
opel2000 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Think the Dealer needs a bit of a reality check. For starters who would walk into a dealers and be willing to pay 6k for an old car with a shot to pieces drivers seat. I think we all know what we would find on this Manta, I would be very very surprised if it would be worth half it's current sales figure, much better to be had at much much less than that Quote
Mick Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Get the carpet up when you go to look Lot of money and I noticed the drivers seat too!! Quote
Cavtastic Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 After being at the NEC classic car show last week and seeing what some dealers want for their classic motors, then this is cheap Dolomite 1500cc HL auto, nice car but £9000 was the asking price and this was a very ordinary car really. Probably really worth £1500 to £1800 Quote
rayman Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Same with anything from the 70s era, fs1e mopeds 6k, escorts etc...well the skys the limits. Is it me or does it seem that anything mechanical with a following just seems to be climbing Quote
