got 1 of martins kit,i presume there are different ways of attaching rears, open to suggestions

not being blended, just want boxed look,is there a rubber bead which can be placed between body+arch,or is that just a water trap,or is it better to seal?

only doing this once

Hi what about the classic mini wheel arch beading, Ive used this for all sorts of kits and its not too bulky, Try minispares sure they sell it off the roll :thumbup

If you look at devilfish's 400 projrect thread on page 5, his kit had the remnants of cut outs for J clips (It is pictured on the front bumper, but the rear arch is exactly the same), we dremeled them out and drilled and fitted them the way they were done when built. The J clips and speed nuts are the same ones that hold the front wings on.

The arches were painted off the car, refitted and we injected a seam of black Sikaflex once it was all fitted up

I can see now what you were talking about today Colin, A great deal of work but you know what you have when it's done. The car looks nice also when you had it sitting in the drive next to the Carlton, I bet you are itching to get it back lol.
