gt4_ade
Right thought its about time i did an update on here. Progress on the car has been really slow due to other commitments but i have managed to get the other side 2 door conversion done, front edge of drivers sill, top edge of driver a post and the rot in the front floor. Also managed to get most of my parts togther bought this for the engine as it has just been full rebuild with 87mm low comp omega pistons, pec rods, arps through out, ported and polished coscast with vernier and newman 264 cams, got my turbo a garrett gt3071r with tial external wastgate and custom swedish sytle plenum got my wheels Also got my atlas axle 4 link kit, new gripper lsd and 3.75 cwp togother finally got my cage and bucket seats so not many parts ledt to but now thankfully
gt4_ade
Due to me not having enough time to do all the fab work on the car i have taken it to retropower for them to finish the last of the rot repair and also fit the atlas and tub the rear arches. This was how the car was delivered work started o/s A panel area all sorted Next rear arch area was addressed arches tubed for 400 kit n/s sill fitted this is pretty much the stage that the car is at now next stage is work on boot floor/ rear panel area and then fitting the atlas

opelmantagsi
this will be an incredible car when its finished, it looks stunning so far. whats your thoughts the area where the bush goes?, they tend to squish together pushing in the new bush outer sleeve, some guys on here tack in temp support brackets, I welded mine in permanently. I bought Powerflex but ended up using Superflex bushes on these my powerflex ones didnt come with the SS outer sleeves. Needless to say the Powerflex ones are still in their packet in the shed, whish I used all Superflex ones now to be honest Edited April 28, 2012 by opelmantagsi
gt4_ade
That may have been a good idea but it to late now as thier in paint lol but i.am also using superflex bushes they are good quality
opelmantagsi
just watch when you put the outer sleeve in, even temp choke if they are tight to prevent squishing
