Rab
Hi Bob. Info if not already will be posted on here `Club events` and details within Manta Magic club magazine. A fee is paid to O.M.O.C and payment to Billing Aquadrome on entering camping or as a day visitor. The club fee this year will be decided I presume after the AGM as the concours has to be decided on which format it will be run. As to camping been there and got the T`Shirt now slum oot in Travel Lodge but book early as pos as prices can be high, and if in Travel Lodge nout stopping you being under the stars just dinae gang back been there in past GREAT TIME HAD BI ALL. Hope of some use or contact club committee for further info. cheers rab. Edited April 8, 2012 by Rab
MANTAMAN
Bob, you need to book with the club to get your windscreen sticker ( 'spot' ) and entry onto the Manta section of the field, (details to follow when they are confirmed) as an alternative to a hotel you could stop in a static caravan, Billing hire these out, i stopped in one last year, very well appointed and you are on site for the whole weekend, heres a link to Billings caravans - http://www.billingaquadrome.com/holiday-hire/
Redrob666
Hi guys. I might be missing something but still have not found any info regarding pre booking with Billing. I have decided to camp but the Voab site says I need a code for doing the booking to get a discount and you guys say info will be posted but I can't see it. Maybe I am thick or something but it seems to be getting rather close now. help please.
stradacab
We usually prebook thru the club, I'm sure someone will be able to tell you. Failing that if you turn up on the day you can get in and register at Puddleduck. I think its only a couple quid more if you dont pre book. Be great to see you there, we'll make you feel welcome. But please be sure to introduce yourself before about 8.00 on Friday night if you want to get any sense out of us.

mantaray
hello id love to make billing this year as i just missed it last year. now naughtly im not a member of the opel club anymore do i need to become a member again or pay a fee on the day. also where is billing..(guilford) many thanks ian (opel manta a luxus signal blue 1974) To camp or put your car on the Manta club field, you will need to be a member of the Manta club. You can enter the show ground as a member of the public and camp in the public areas, but you will not get a club dicounted entry fee. I don't know what prices Billing are chargeing this year, but it's about £15- £20 /night camping or £10 for day pass. If you wish to join the club on the club field, then you will need to become a member £25 , pay a club Billing fee £7.50 ( covers entertainment and trophes) plus the camping fee to Billing. Billing is just outside Northampton on the A45, J16 on the M6

Skragmor
Hi, I will be coming down along with my dad and his Manta for the satruday. Is it possible to park his Manta along with the club cars for the day? He lives abraod and isn't a member but the more Manta's on the field the better right? I am obviously happy to pay any entrance fee to billing. Not looking to join any competition just would like the car to be on display for everyones enjoyement, it is a nice example. Thanks alot. Big B i200
Tel I am sure the Committee will advise but I think there is an issue with Public Liability insurance, no non members can park up in the field.
Skragmor
It seems to say on the VBOA site that if any members come with extra cars it will be charge at a tener per car, maybe my dad and I could be counted as an extra car? I do not own a Manta at the moment which is why I am not a member and my dad isnt English and lives abroad which is why he isn't. Do you reckon we can sort something along these lines out? Would be great, only looking to come down for Saturday and not looking to camp just to park his Manta with you guys! Thanks, Tel. Duckman
Does anyone know how we book for Billing this year as there wasn't any information in the last Manta Magic? The next issue doesn't always arrive at home before the Billing meeting and as we're also going to be away the week before (and planning on attending Billing as the final part of our holiday), we would really like to be able to book this as soon as possible. After all, it's only 6 weeks away!! Thanks Russ

fabmanta
Hi Chaps, just to clear things up. If you are a member of the club, the information on booking for billing and camping is under the members section of the forum, I think its 'the Billing Aquadrome link'. To get the code for discounted camping, you must be a club member. If you want to park your car on the manta club site at Billing, again you must be a member, as the club public liability insurance does not cover non-members vehicles. If you wish to enter the show park up and come and see us on our stand, the fee for one days entrance is £10 (member or non-member) even if you are not a member and don't park up on our site you will be made very welcome on our club stand, as we are all for making all manta owners welcome, so come and join us chaps, it will be lovely to see you all. Hope to see you there, Fiona Middleton.
