amantafan
Just spotted this. Low start price. http://r.ebay.com/QRbRmL
CRAZYDAVE
That looks pretty solid shame about the interior though!
Devil Fish
its a bit mouldy, but I bet it'd clean up well
mantasrme
Well it apparently made £410 which was higher than i expected. But i guess it didn't actually sell as its already been re-listed by the same seller on a buy-it-now for just over 3 times that amount :o http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360808134100
spiney_norman
Yep, spotted the relisted ad last night. Clearly didn't make what he wants, but I guess there are still plenty of dreamers out there! Pretty sure that without too much trouble I could find a scruffy but useable one with tax and MOT for that sort of money.
Cavtastic
The owner has killed the sale of this vehicle! the vast majority of people viewing the ebay sale will be us, mostly out of interest and a few with the view to buy a project car or for the parts on it. He should have taken the £400 1st time around and not gone to bed and had a vision of what he dream't it's worth! it's not a FORD! I wish they were worth more as well mate!!
dog321fish
I was under the impression that unless it failed to reach a reserve, you were obliged to sell to the highest bidder ? Is that not how ebay is supposed to work ?
spiney_norman
Yep, but it didn't meet the reserve first time out, only got to £410. By the looks of his new advert, the reserve on the previous was probably about £2k
Rick-Manta
I sent him: "For that money I'm guessing there are some eurasian red squirrels still in the car?" Lol :-D
Danny D114BCW
At that price it looks like its going to be left another 20 years, why wouldn't the seller wash it or at least attempt to get the mould off the seats? Why do these finds never get discovered by real Manta people.
Rick-Manta
I couldn't agree more, the seller replied to my sarcky message saying where else would I find a 1 owner manta for that money.. I wasn't going to waste any time replying about the £400 value proven by his first listing!
spiney_norman
One owner means naff all when it's in that condition!
