611
Not much, only good for small jobs. You need to find somewhere that can supply you one of the big re-fillable ones if you are doing a lot
stradacab
I've been using the PD argoshield and two bottles did both legs and floors and a bit more. Cheap rental and cheap refills worked out better for me that renting a big one.
Paul Barrett
ive gone over from BOC to hobbyweld, as they have distributor 500 yards from me and can even get a bottle on a sunday if I phone up!

mantadoc
Not much, only good for small jobs. You need to find somewhere that can supply you one of the big re-fillable ones if you are doing a lot No regulator, no rentals, no refills. Unless you are doing a lot it probably doesn't pay to go bigger. I've used about 15 small bottles in 6 yeas on the Manta and it's had a lot more welding than most people here will do. I prefer Co2 as well, not as clean but less tendency to burn through at same settings. Also most people turn the flow up way higher than needed.

611
Been using a little one on mine at the moment as making the exhaust and i think it best not to leave it connected to the welder as last time i did this and did some welding over a week or so it didnt seem to last long. But taking it off if im not using it for a few days it seems to be lasting longer. Might just be me but it might help :-) Andy
rutts
find a local pub gas supplier up here we have J+R gases nelson Lancashire 10L bottle of argo shield no rental charge just need proof of i.d. £21 bargain. or use CO2 if you require and that is £15 for pub bottle. both types of regulators are available on ebay around £20. gave up with the little bottle a long time ago too much hassle. only my opinion though
