starmist
Why would you put a solid front panel on a manta?

Monaco Blue
I suspected that might be the reason! There are some however who prefer the solid grill. Mainly Vauxhall fans I'd guess!

Danny D114BCW
£9000!!!! Buy now!! Your having a laugh. I am sorry but that grill is horrid on that and I never knew Irmscher did a hatch spoiler 😬 Its had a lot spent on it, good luck to the seller but realistically I struggle to see £5500 for it. Modified Manta's are a nightmare to sell!

MANTAMAN
The reg looks awfully familiar, this might be the Manta GT/E auto Simon Downs ( Stonymanta on here ) and myself collected from a lock-upgarage in North (East ?) London many years ago.
Sutty2006
I've learnt from experience that you only put that kind of cash into a car you intend on keeping. It's a lovely manta, and with a few tweaks (nose cone being the first) it will make someone a great toy!!
philip1971
The front end is art deko , it's the new norm, you look at it and feel the vibes and every angle . It the feelings the senses, then you think of the 3 idiots on top gear , and then you think captain slow welding a Volvo to a saab with two front ends together. So the front is the back and the back is the back and the back is the back or front I think . Bloody mess !

I remember coming over to your place Guysat, and was absolutely shocked when I saw this in the flesh.... I knew nothing about your car/project, and what a lovely shock when I saw it..... It was just one of those cars that pictures could not do justice to... The stance and the paint and just the sheer quality of finish everywhere was outstanding.
