No plans for that as yet Chris just a few local tarmac rounds will do me at the minute. All depends how work/money goes

Autocrosser
Fair enough would be nice to see some more beating the escorts in wales, like Simon's has this year Unlike the escorts though Chris I can't get full Kevlar underfloor guards and full floor pans and chassis rails off the shelf at the corner shop. I'd love to do gravel but it's unbelievably hard on the car as Simon would tell you.

Yes thats the major problem :/ it's a big shame, parts availability and all that. you never know, now the RAC has won the bid for MSA Historic Championship maybe they'l let Mantas in and can do the tarmac rounds, might do Jim Clark next year, I'd guess?

Julian
The only ralling I ever done was many years ago, down in West Wales in an Hillman Imp, we wrecked two clutches before we had to retire, I was warned to take a spare with me, by someone who had used an Imp the previous year, changing the clutch on an imp was like changing a wheel, well nearly!!! and that was my first and last rally, all over under two hours! so I'm following your prject with interest, and admire all your work, by the way what paint are you using, nice finish on some of those panels. stick with it, you'll get there in the end.
Autocrosser
It's 2 pack Julian and it's turned out not bad for a farm shed respray. It's only the second car I've ever painted and it's far from perfect but it's good enough for a rally car

A long shot but think this company did 20 / 20 covers - remember seeing them when searching for TR7/8 ones previously - don't have any listed at present so an e- mail might be needed to them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRITISH-LEYLAND-BL-RALLY-SPOT-LAMP-LIGHT-COVERS-TRIUMPH-TR7-TR8-DOLOMITE-SPRINT-/171371548781?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27e68a506d Edited July 20, 2014 by NEIL W

400PEL
hi , if there was enough interest a local company would make the Kevlar under body guards, would need a car to take moulds from though. made underbody and sill guards for my previous rally car(great quality).
