Rapierdave
Looks a very nice original car, not sure if that is a private plate looks like a channel islands car maybe. Top money but if its as good as the pics suggest then try to find another. Here is a link to another ad for the same car, car is in the Lancashire area. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C612099 Edited May 16, 2015 by Rapierdave
®evo03
Top money but if its as good as the pics suggest then try to find another. I am lucky enough to own, a manta with a 1/5 of the miles, of that! totally original, and i mean original!, 1 prev owner. Can't sell it, as there is only one with less miles, and thats in the irmscher museum, and what would i replace it with?.... The white one advertised is n.irish reg, not private plate, not worth as advertised, if it had the figures, like wij 201 (WIJ 2.0l or wij 400, nice car, worth what is advertised. Thats scary, good, but scary, worth it, of couse it is, its a mint manta! But those aint n.irish mot's. Could be a southern irish import. To ni, then england, but most from s,ireland where gsi, but some were not! Weird being 88, where gte' available along with exclusives in 88? Danny D114BCW
From what I have heard it isn't as mint as stated. And a 1988 GT/E? Nice car but I am sure it lives outside. Anyway if anybody is interested it's 20mins from me so I can go and look if people want an opinion.
®evo03
"From what I have heard it isn't as mint as stated." Thats a shame!, but the way prices are going, could it be a wise investment? Havnt seen mantas in the financial times yet! Hope i never do! Edited May 16, 2015 by brady
Volksdevil
Ah...I think I know of this Manta. If it's the same guy who has it which I'm guessing it must be due to location, then it's an old friend of my Dads, he's a car body guy/painter by trade... Kevin Abbott
Looks like most of the originality is there. Missing a couple of bits and looks like it would only take a little work to make it mint. At least at that money it's not going to be made into a 400 rep , no offence meant to you Mick

Danny D114BCW
It's had paint as the decals in places are wrong, and the rear number plate light and things are painted. Also car seems to be running in the picture but the Rev counter isn't working so wondering if the wiring is dodgy on the car as the alarm is unplugged too? Very Nice car, love the stripes on the doors too and rare but £10.000!?!? Yeh right. Edited May 20, 2015 by Danny D114BCW
