Looking at the front panel spotted a little mark (you whodunnit have found it if you’re not looking)

Steep learning curve isn’t it.

but glad your getting to grips with it now. The extra 5% as you say, is why we have professional painters. If you get to 95% in all honesty, your are right to leave it be. Let it weather a year and then pay to have it machine polished, then you will get that extra 5% of gloss .

Today flattened the bonnet looking good

After seeing lan work on the inner wings,l made a start on the battery tray which is 100% solid

Give it a few coats of paint, looks good ( this is going to well)

Cleaned the cover behind the battery comes up very good

Remove the throttle body as the idle adjust was sized (all sort out )

The engine is a 2.0 Sri 130 8 value

It has a coolant hose going to the throttle body but one is blocked off (on the 2.0 chi engine it go’s to a T piece  heater hose )

Put some sound dreading on the bulk head (as the exhaust runs down that side it seams a bit loud)

Flattened polish the front panel it has come up really well

Refitted the headlights, lights all work

Put the front bumper on lt looked bad , l thought the front bumper was ok but put it against the front panel and wings not so good

So after wiring up the spot lights up have to cut the wiring to remove the lights.

made a start on the bumper.Hope to paint in the week
