Sticky Manta

Today looking at the sun roof frame (yes it up for sale but l can still play for the time being)

Did not look right,so masked it off and painted it 

What l am going to do when is gone

Never fitted rear 1/4  before,Many years ago l used to do the welding for a body shop after work , they set all panels up and l will weld 

Used ox, cely ,number 5 tip and a coat hanger , Can not get the hang of mig welding

Ah gas welding 👍

TIG would probably suit you more than MIG.

Yes in the club and will stay in the club

Hopefully l can give someone in the club some useful information, not that l am an expert 

Will keep looking at projects 

Just like to say thanks to everyone for the support and inspiration, information 

Sticky getting pick up tomorrow on a trailer will take some photos and post of the goodbye

I would to thank everyone for the information and parts received 

lt has been a leaning crave witch l Have I joined (most of the time)

l should have got the LED lights at the start so l could see what l was doing

Been reading though the last post ,

One more tip for anyone starting a make over on a manta is clean out your work space

Once the manta was gone l clean up the garage 

Found sanding discs (which whoud have been a big help) a worm ( a old speedo cable, used for putting wiring though body) , wiring loom and more 

For anyone who this is the first one give yourself a lot of time to carry out the work and most of all enjoy the experience if it gets to much 

SELL IT TO ME
