Sutty2006
Nice seats, but £750? Shoot. If they’d been £300 ish I might have been tempted. And the description is dodgy as hell too. I’d like to see him fit those in a large letter!
Jessopia74
Thing is if you had your own re-trimmed, how much would they cost.
Sutty2006
Yeah I know, it’s not cheap at all. Man can only dream of having leather on a working class wage 🤣🤣
starmist
I fitted some RS recaros similar to these years ago to my 16v exclusive and although they were really comfy, they sat about 1" higher which was very noticeable.
®evo03
To be honest not the tidiest of efforts, dont think leather suits a manta, i do like the ford, bmw type with the split near the end of the base, think recaros add 50% to the manta comfort. Sutty2006
I’ve been wanting a set of Ford recaros for my manta for years but not prepared to pay Ford tax on tatty seats lol.
®evo03
There are some impressive products on the market, there is a company nuera, there products are first class, cleaners, stabilizers, fillers, dyes, can be made to match, and sealers. So, everything can look like new, again, been using these products for a while, and last email sent, had the manager phone me the next day for a clarification, advise, and confirmation. Thats unheard of now a days! http://www.nueraproducts.co.uk/

I’m pretty sure it was Biffy on here that had RS turbo recaros trimmed with leather bolsters & Daytona centres which looked pretty smart. H-400
No airco, no leather! Remembered the Insignia's airco broke down in the French Pyreneeés and wanted to get home buy a can ra132 to fill it temporary so we could drive home. "You'v got to be a specialist because of the environment bla bla bla" Me: "I am a specialist" (You snail eating garlic smelling ar****le! me thinking) Ended in buying towels in a local supermarket because we were floating off those leather seats.

Does anyone in Europe like the French? 😂
®evo03
Does any one like leather seats? Hold the cold in winter, 3rd degree burns in summer! Half and half, or no leather makes sense. Although metal recaro badges are worth watching, think i have oracer in mirror text, branded into my back from yrs ago. 😋😋 1

I also think some real leather can end up looking worse than vinyl.
Sutty2006
Depends entirely on the car. The mercury I’ve just got rid of would have been crap with leather, as round a left hand bend youd slide right over to the other side ! Whereas my landrover with its Sahara sand leather is great. Doesn’t burn your ass in the summer and has heated elements to warm ya ass up in the winter 🤣
stumpy
just as a heads up theres a local guy to me that will strip and re upholster a seat in leather /leather look for 175 per seat i dont know if thats good or bad compared to others but seems good value to me he does all the upholstering in my gym on the machines is how i got to know him and as you can imagine the machines/seats get hammered by multiple bodies on a daily basis

Do you know if he can recreate the foam sections if they are in need of repair?
