They are not on there yet!! Well spotted.

I've got some coming in the next day or so.

But I gotta see what they look like. Might have to have some opinions from the forum.

Another option would be to fit an indicator bulb in the inner spot lights(not sure if that's legal?)

Looks great with the twins.

I fitted orange bulbs into the headlights.

Works well but tricky to cut a hole and bond a light in. LEDs were not available when I did mine.

Alternative may be motorbike indicators fitted into a rectangle in the grill.

Good idea Kevin, especially black smoked ones.

Over here we have rules around the degrees of visibility, hence some cars end up with side repeaters.

if I get pinged on that because of the lower cibies, I might look at putting a led in the shell of the side mirrors.

Ok not the best photo but hopefully gives the idea.

I didn't really won't to see the indicators as I like the look of just the twins.

So what I've done is fixed a vertical strip of 6 amber LEDs behind the grill on the front panel.

So when the indicators are not on you don't see them.

Went to a local car meet tonight on the harbour arm,so a lot of public/tourists about

I might change the badge to a BMW as devil fish suggested.

It was funny overhearing people guessing or blagging what they thought the car was,the opel badge being their only clue!

Car is coming along nicely.

Bit of history for you, I bought the car from cornwall in 2011 and here it can still be seen on google street view.

No wonder the rear seats were in such good condition, seem to be covered in the photo.

p.s if you ever consider selling, it would be a great replacement for my ma's corsa C ;)

edit no 2: is the floor still as solid as when I had it? I haven't seen a manta floor as clean as that like ever.

Hi Robert

Yes the car is very solid underneath.

Now that I've sorted the rot up front,

the only bit of rot is the little bit on the sunroof and its just starting to bubble on the rear arch.

So these are the jobs for the winter.

Thanks for the street view photo,I'll add that to the album !

Thats good to hear, doubt you'd be able to find an un restored one like that.

Should keep you busy through the colder months then!

I remembered the other day where I bought the car from, I was going to send the dear old lady I bought it off some pictures when I had finished the car, but obviously that never happened.

Good luck with it anyway, hope to see some more progress soon!
