Hi selling my 1986 gte coup i200 in polar white. It was dealer converted from new. It has 7months mot, 4 months tax. In good condition, had rebuilt 5 years ago. It has been welded in all the usual places, new wings, sills, rear arches etc. Back to metal respray. It's got 64000 on the clock not genuine. Its been in the family for the last 18 years so well looked after. I used to take it to all the local shows to me so is known in the club; car is located in north wales; value for insurance is £6000 looking for reasonable offers.

need help adding pictures ; any suggestions

you need to upload the image to a web based host service, such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.uploadit.org to name but two.

You'll need to register first but both are free for simple image hosting, though you can upgrade to do other things for a small fee.

Once registered you can begin uploading images Note the "URL" box with it's text (highlighted). Copy this text (left click and drag to select all the text, right click -> copy or CTRL-C). In Uploadit, you get a list. Click the list and copy the http address from the new window.

On to the forum, you have two options. You can simply paste the http address and post a link to your picture. Anyone who wants to see it will need to click the address. This is good if you want to post a lot of images

If you want to display the actual image, use the "img" tags:

http://premium1.uplo...hotobucket4.JPG

That's all there is to it. As you may have figured, you don't actually post a picture but point the forum software to a net address which it converts into an actual picture.

Hope this helps.

When you say dealer converted, what did they convert? Many thanks, Dan

Because i200 were difficult to obtain dealers took a standard gte and uprated it to i200 spec, the original mod kit was the front spoiler and uprated cam, then depending on how much the customer wanted to spend you could have extra mod's

the car has a reprofiled high lift cam, uprated valve springs, a re-mapped distributer, the twin headlight conversion ,the 400 3 piece spoiler, 400 door stripes, it used to have the i200 decals until the rebuild,it used to have solid valve lifters but the previous owner had removed because he did not like the rattle, the irmscher rocker cover, the front spoiler and side skirts, 30mm lowered spring kit ,it now has scorpion performance exhaust. the rocker cover was never destin for the uk market, it was specially imported from Germany

i remember seeing that rare rocker cover in an irmscher brochure ,and i belive its a rocker cover "cover " in the sense it goes over the original to give a 16v engine look. that is a lovely car indeed hope it finds a good home
