MANTAMAN
this one cetainly does look like a good one, as far as i can see in the pictures it's NON SUNROOF Seems an honest restored Manta and £3500 is what Manta's of this standard should be going for. Danny D114BCW
Fully restored blah blah....then the seller goes onto say it's got bubbles coming through... Hum. Edited February 25, 2014 by Danny D114BCW
upk
Looks too nice for the dealer price!! That makes me curious to see what's hiding underneath.

Scribe of Lincoln
How can it be MOT'd to October 2015?
Julian
How can it be MOT'd to October 2015? Or road taxed till April 2015?
gt/e paul
another one that had sold a little while ago and has now resurfaced in the hands of someone else. this time a dealer. I remember it as I thought of the dodgy number plates and the fact it was "restored" and they hadn't even fitted a gearstick gaitor of some description. and looking closely I thought it had a set of custom solutions kick panels. but on a closer look it actually looks like the ecu is fixed to to lump of alloy plate or something. nah this one to me looks like its hiding lots of covered up nastys underneath. I would sooner pay less for a rusty heap and see what ive got instead of a load of hidden suprises.
rayman
So the opinion is its a tidy ,non restored ,bit bubbly, maybe MOT,d and taxed and it £3500 for a hatch ?
Rapierdave
This one looks better & for around half the price http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Opel-Manta-GTE-/201040373974?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2ecef0a8d6&clk_rvr_id=593380273390 Edited February 26, 2014 by Rapierdave
BEEDZ
Yeah it does look tidy. Im watching this. Does anyone Know it? As it hasn't had any bids as yet?
Rick-Manta
The white GTE was for sale recently, I think it was in Scotland as someone contacted me about it when I advertised to wanting a GTE hatch and was too far for me to collect. It was quite a bit cheaper than this asking price. The silver one would have had a few bids from me as this was exactly what I was looking for and not too far away, but I've bought a 1.8S hatch needing a lot more work than I first thought, so I'm kicking myself.. I think it hasn't got any bids yet as all the pictures have probably uploaded wrong as you'll notice they're all small thumbnail ones and the headlamps are really making the car look terrible and that's likely to be a big worry to someone out of the manta circles. Can anyone lend me £2000 please?
