Rear Lowering Springs

Or just trim the current springs down to get it sitting level.

As its a lottery to what height a new lowering spring will put the car.

Even if its the same spring as someone else runs as I find a lot of manufacturers quality control isnt that good at producing matching springs.

Oh and a lot of the lowering springs are too high a poundage making the back crash over bumps.

Hi gary,

are those wheels irmscher ones as fitted to some i240 mantas very nice whatever they are.

Looking at the picture if you went for spax rears with a 40mm drop it may achieve what you desire.

While i am on is, this saturday possible to collect your old wheels,or are you on the jolly bus by then. B)

ended up cutting a full coil off as i tried half and i assume it wont seat correctly with half a coil cut off

not road tested yet so it may drop down more

You can do half a coil (or any amount) the upper rubber spring seat can be rotated around to any point to match the top of the spring.

The bottom can't be moved as its the axle cup thats shaped for the spring end to sit against.

Oh and only other thing to remember is you have to trim both springs then drive it a bit and see how it sits, just trimming one spring won't alter the height as the ARB levels it out
