Rick-Manta
What filler are you using to flatten out the very small lumps and bumps please, like on the roof for example? With standard filler I find when you're sanding it back to get that really smooth base before priming it will crumble, so is it a special kind? It's looking great.. eldoradoCoupe
Hi William, Good to see good work mate. I'm restoring my GTE in Gilnahirk not too far from you. Most of the welding done, just gotta check out the dreaded, swan necks, don't think they're too bad so hoping I'm near there. Question for you - who'd you use to do the blasting and would you recommend them?

I use isopon called smooth 7, it find it good to rub. Not sure what filler you are using but it don't sound good if it's crumbles, have you put enough hardener in it..!!

Novasportc550
My thread has been a bit quite lately , I have been working on a friends 850 BMW the past 5 weeks or so and it has been taking up the manta's parking spot. Finally got it finished and away on Thursday night past and the manta back in my garage. Time to start into the body work again.. Few pics of the 850 and the manta back home.
