Is it above kick panel,  passanger side.  Think the wee box is a n energy saver for quad lights. When the car is parked with lights on, car stopped,  it cuts voltage.... Apparently?

Car is looking good, getting round it rightly.

Got some lacquer done the inner wing turn out spot on

The floors are in excellent condition as the the floor bungs where missing

So thinking that any water that leak in drain straight out again

Put a drain on the new bungs l got if water gets in it drained out

The stuff l got is a little to thick as it was a bit of a bugger to refit the carpet as it made the carpet to high, but it does feel a lot better under foot

I have a lot of 3 mm thick stuff so will be using that on the O/ S floor

Got to paint the frames on the seat and the N/S front, central floor is done

Was thinking about yoga mats or exercise mats,  as dynamat is bloody expensive.  Hopefully leave it a bit quieter.

They may to thick so the carpet will not fit the stuff l used is 8 mm thick and a bit of a #### to fit

Stupid question time

How remove the gear-lever knob

The wing indicator, where do the wiring go to get it working,as l found the wiring cut and going nowhere, How did pass a MOT

The shaft splits with a clip compressed against a rubber sleeve. It’s done from below and is a pain.  Excuse very crude drawing, currently travelling and best I could do .

good written explanation from Brown here (but no pics, so I made you the diagram lol)

Thanks for the info, thought they were glued on the gearstick. The wiring is hidden behind the kickpanels, rather high. You'll find a grommet to the outside.

Thanks Herman

l was looking for where the wiring connect to in the wiring loom
