spiney_norman
I'm pretty sure I offered the seller a free petrol tank for it a few weeks ago too.
Cavtastic
The mod - boys will only be satisfied when the 1.8's are all extinct. Wish they could get their sumps from some other motor? Don't get me wrong here there are some superb modified engineered Manta's on the road. But some 1.8's must be saved surely.

adz the stig
there is a lot of cars that need saving. but for those 1.8's left price's could do with going up a wee bit. that will save them. like cavalier's getting killed for these redtop's. a calibra 4x4 turbo will be a rare sight in years to come. these cars wont be saved untill the price's rise. spiney_norman
Decent 1800s do still make reasonable money, there was a turquoise hatch that finished on ebay the other day for £1600. Just a shame this one was never offered as a complete project. Probably needed some work but doesn't look anywhere near as bad as the ones I've scrapped. Kevin Abbott
Cheer up The more Mantas are sent to the crusher the higher the value of the car you have and the parts you own. casper1483
It is a shame when half decent cars get broken up, that's why I could never own a breakers yard, I wouldnt sell owt, but on a plus side these cars help others stop on the road ........
