TheRealExile
sure is! if anyone knows what happened to NAD 357P I'd be grateful also. I can see it was last taxed in 1992 but that's it and that is when I'd taxed it until I'd done all the welding and the body was decent, it's only fault was it would jump out of 1st now and again and I was too skint to fix it at the time.... It went to a trader so I'd have thought he'd have sold it on rather than broken it, but who knows!

Not many around in Carnelian Red, especially Coupes. They did some lovely metallic colours on the 81/82MY cars.

Its the only one ive ever seen, ive seen 1 hatch in Carnelian red, Mainly it seemed to be a Monza colour. Unfortunately due to a very careless driver in a Cortina who found himself on my side of the road one night it ended up like this. I think UK sales had slowed to a trickle around that time which probably accounts for their rarity. What a way for it to end up. Not a pretty sight! The co-owner of my local Vauxhall/Opel dealer at that time ran an X plate SRB hatch in a pale blue metallic (Helios Blue?). It was fully loaded (ATS alloys, spotlights, sunroof etc. which I always thought looked lovely and rare. Aquamarine, Hazel Brown, Anthracite, Carnelian Red and Sapphire Blue were the other metallic colours available around 1982.

Jodel
Hi, I have just joined the club, I had 200 odd Hillman Imps back in the day, probably something one should keep quiet about lol. I now have a hankering for an A series Manta, have loved the shape since they were new. Almost purchased one once but a house got in on the act instead
