ANDY ABBOTT
Well that went tits up. Will have to be knocked back and re done. Had a silicone reaction/fish eyed. This is twice this has happened in the past 2 months. Only became a problem since the new lads moved into unit behind ours. I think they are using valet products and its finding it's way in our bay. Been here 6 years and this has only started since they moved in grrrrrr Project images are available to Club Members Only, Click to become an OMOC Member. Manta hatch
Gets right on your nerves when the fish eyes appear I am no body man that’s my fathers thing he’s been at it 30years am sure he adds something to the paint to stop this happening I will ask him later and let you no it’s a similar thing to the plasticiser stuff Another trick he learnt me is to never wipe prepped car with thinners 2k our celly always use panel wipe
Jessopia74
An old boy that used to do some paint for me years back said he could machine anything out the paint but silicon in the air from the guy in unit next door who used a very light oil refurbishing Old printing stuff.

It's only been happening recently. We dont like using anti silicone or additives, as it can mess with the gloss level, and cause solvent pop etc.. its defo something to do with the new lads behind us. H-400
My "400" had them original, but my GSI didn't. Wanted them also in the GSI so I founded a set on the internet. Think it is an option you got to order together with the car, the Berlinetta had them also. 1

There are very hard to find now these are bronze tint, but the green sealed quarters are even harder to find, as I believe they was only on the early b for 1 year. H-400
Looks great again, what are you going to do with the rims? They look tiny with the wide body kit.
