Loobie Maher
We are having a committee meeting this weekend and this is one of the things that will be discussed
Kevin Abbott
Thank's Louise. Considering there are 352 members ( if full membership) = ( 352 x 25 = £8800 per year) I think it's about time the website got a revamp inline with the new mag. The front page of the OMOC is appalling
taylorblue5
Would be nice to put all the common modification and problem pages in their own section with "how to guides" in another.
Kevin Abbott
I'd still like to be able to update my old posts.. Is it sorted? Sooooooo, not much on the Manta done due to the compressor dying again. Had to tear the garage apart to get to it and I wasn't looking forward to it.. It took 2 months to source the parts and have them delivered! New valve heads ordered from http://www.gfcompressors.co.uk/ at a cost of £30 and I had the head skimmed on both of the heads for £20. Built up and now it works again . I have 3 cosworth looms now as you won't believe how hard it is to get a good one. At £100 a loom I may as well gone and got a bespoke one and I may yet Breather, the high power cossies have to breathe from both sides of the block and not from the cover. £300 later at torques I might have the parts Another £100 on teflon braided lines and torques fittings for the fuel rail Cut the end off the rail Smooth and add olive Add -AN6 fitting Then return fitting and teflon lined braided nylon pipe Kidney box deleted and a fitting inserted Then a AN10 fitting added On the other side the fitting looks wrong It all leads up to the bailey breather I'm using stainless braided pipe covered in a nylon braid for all the pipes Inlet needed a special tool to be made to release the fitting I will have to have a AN-6 fitting brazed into here onto the inlet Header tank polished Swirl pot needs some work FPR polished but I may put the anodised one on PF09 in my hand now so it's an upgrade to a L8 closed loop next for 500bhp Hartge wheels anyone? Big decision to be made........................................ I think I'm going to leave it narrow bodied! Standard Exclusive trim and bonnet too.. I love cars like Dannys, Petes, Antonios, Gordons....

Kevin Abbott
Last nights work in the garage. Henry the hoover who lives in the pit decided he didn't want to play anymore so he has stripped and rebuilt, now he can clean the pit again. The computer screens, one got an upgrade and one a downgrade, the 42" plasma was swopped out for a 37" LCD and the 17" LCD swapped out for a 27" LCD. With the dual screen graphics card on pan it gives an effective ( if not slightly ineffective due to resolutions) 64" display and no Image retention worries as the plasma has gone Yea yea yea I hear, stop messing about with that s==t and do the car! Well to do the car I need to do it in a happy garage and now being able to have manta dvds on one screen and ebay or omoc on the other it makes for a nicer place to be.
