mickappy
ive been on a diet so i csn fit in:-) been ironing out little things. firstly i could only get 1st 3rd 5th gear. now if youve followed this build u will know ive got an omega r28 box in and i had to make differant gear shift to fit the manta tunnel. i thought id got sll gears:-(. anyway i finally figured out i was 7mm to short on the connecting rod.. sooo i planted in the garden for a few days and it grew to right lenth:-)) now its very crisp in to all gears.. my advise would be buy the kit of retropower:-/ now on to lights n things. MANTAMAN
brakes are hard with no servo.. but i guess i will get used to that. Many years ago i had a MK 2 Cavalier that had a servo fail, got quoyed huge money for a replacement and as it was a Belgium built car, a servo off a scrapyard proved hard to come by, so i drove it around for a while with no working servo, i quickly got used the effort need to brake and soon didn't notice it except when i got into another car for the first few miles i kept doing emergency stops !

MANTAMAN
Genuine i series rear spoilers from Irmscher have a 'sharper' top to the side fences, side by side an Exclusive side fence has a 'fatter' more rounded top.
Danny D114BCW
Mick I know were all saying it or thinking it but this looks out if this world brilliant, its all done RIGHT and the attention to detail is a credit to ya. Hope to see it at billing!? Oh and the irmscher spoilers for some reason are very squashy too.

mickappy
its a kitcar heater box I made smaller by putting the matrix behind the fan instead of infront, it makes it over 1" smaller so it fits with the dizzy. still got a bit of ducting to do I will try do some pics when I take it back off. mickappy
since I made the new prop shaft and fitted it. I never had I balanced and its been bugging me ever since, so I popped it off and down to a prop shaft specialist,, it came back looking completely different:) he said mine was shite and this new 1 is the dogs:).. he also said it would of come thu floor.. came back looking like this this flange was to replace the old rubber doughnut thing all fit like a glove. I can sleep easy now knowing I aint getting a prop up my arse on full tilt:))) another lesson learned...
