Jesus christ...Awesome, absolutely awesome mate. You are building my IDEAL 400R, especially the colour (apart from that turbo thing lol, N/A all the way!)

I would definitely go with the 1800/smaller boot spoiler if it was me, should give a lower/cleaner/more euro smooth/wide look. The 400 spoiler raises the height at the rear too much for me. Weird I know :ph34r: But it's your choice obviously, either way it's going to look smart as hell!

Loved reading all of this mate, keep up the good work!

quick update, started to bolt things to this now,

wiring harness in and hidden in sill to rear(job n half)

lights in front and rear... pedel box and piping next b4 the dash..

need to start thinking of getting engine out of storage now... excited:)

managed to get all the brack plumbing done last night. all in braided and mostly inside the car... not an easy job...39f3f88b.jpg

all brakes bled up and working:-)
pulled the engine out of storage. i built this engine approx 4 years ago.
arp head bolts and big end. coscast head with bronze valve guides. new valves.
new hybrid turbo.
bottom end is also all been done.

i have just took it all apart and checked it and put it back together:-) and another lick of paint,

moving on to the mv6 gearbox.
old bearing and cylinder removed.

new pne fitted with retropower supplied spacer.

then fit bsck to box with braided pipe to go to wilwood pedal cylinder.

thats todays work. tomorrow on going to bench test new cylinder for leaks b4 the final fit to engine. then put it in its new home:-)))))

cheers guys, took the decision yesterday to slow down abit now.

im getting married in august and really didnt think it would be costing me soooo much.

so rather than spoil it by rushing and scrimping on parts (loads left to get) ive decided to slow right down.

mot tax and insurance will have to wait..

maybe the car will make it to billing still but on a trailer... either way i will be there with the hatch and probably pi55ed.. :)

Defo a good idea as the last thing you want to do is rush it and get something wrong.

quite a big update on this will be done sunday:) i did have 1 weekend off and since then everythings going smooth...
