ascona i2000
Hey Mick Do you know what sort of power the limited slip diff will take? What will you be getting out of yours? Andy The axles are good upto around 250ish hp. After that they tend to anialate themselves.
611
And there was me wondering how it would be with about 170! I think that's plenty enough for what im doing :-) Im sure it would chew the prop up way before then?

Kevin Abbott
THAT looks awesome Mick The colour really suits and the wheels look top. I ran copper on my axle for ages with no probs, the line has a large loop to soak up any movement on the pipes. Aeroquip type lines can be done using the copper as a template if you wanted to spend more money! The axle was rebuilt by Keith at K&N Transmissions and cost me £350, it did zero miles after that. Tim Ashton recommended I tapped the torque tube to axle bolt holes on the diff out to a bigger size so that was done too. The torque tube off that axle and the large centre shaft was copied on a mates car at a cost of about £600 Lots of money in that axle and it couldn't be on a better car
